2004 News Items
December 2004 The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce has chosen co.relāt for its ability to consolidate many sources of member data and to allow Chamber staff to better focus on member services. -- November 2004 The co.relāt team had a great time visiting St. John's, Newfoundland to attend the National Conference on Supported Employment, hosted by The Canadian Association for Supported Employment. Many conference participants from across Canada were able to learn about co.relāt and how it helps Supported Employment Agencies manage their information. -- October 2004 David Robinson, Irvin Boschmann and the Information Forge team were proud to host the launch of co.relāt. This celebration was held at the new Red River College Princess Street Campus on October 13, 2004.
-- October 2004 The Tech2004 Conference, sponsored by Manitoba Smart Network Inc. and Community Connections was held at the Keystone Centre in Brandon, Manitoba on October 20th 2004. The Information Forge team had a display booth and offered a well attended presentation entitled "An Internet Hosted Database System for People-Serving Non-Profit Organizations". -- August 2004 Client agencies now have the option to use co.relāt in either English, French or Spanish. Please ask about the availability of other languages. -- June 2004 The Information Forge joined in the celebration at the TRLabs 10th anniversary dinner in Winnipeg. The company hosted a display booth that featured co.relāt and recognized the consulting expertise provided by the TRLabs team. -- June 2004 The working name 'theForge.info' has been replaced by co.relāt (pronounced 'correlate'). co.relāt has been chosen as a name that is memorable and one that alludes to correlations between and among data fields - what good reports are made of. The prefix 'co' stands for a partnership or shared activity. -- June 2004 David Robinson, Managing Partner is pleased to announce that Dany Robidoux has accepted the position of Director of Sales and Marketing. Dany understands the needs and realities of the non-profit sector and brings experience, education and enthusiasm to this position. Loriebeth, a Technical Communications student at Red River College will be contributing to the development of user and technical documentation.
